This hand painted plate made by Royal Doulton ca. 1905, has a beautiful bucolic country scene of farmers "felling trees" for lumber! Colors are still bright and the only flaw I can find s some very faint crazing you can see on close inspection! This plate measures 10 1/2" and be sure to look at the companion plate also for sale ~ a nice pair to display!
