This was a fantastic find ~ an old J&G Meakin (England)  Ironstone oval platter that measures 14 1/2" x 10 that is in great condition!  The mark tells me that it was made prior to 1890 and the only flaws are minor utensil wear and a few tiny imperfections in the glaze.  Great piece for display or serving!
