| This antique little oval tray was made by T&R Boote who took over the Waterloo Potteries in England in 1850. This piece is made from Royal Semi-Porcelain and the pattern name is Manila, a green transfer ware with gilt trim. This dish measures 9" x 5". Given the age (ca. 1880's), it is in wonderful condition...flaws are faint crazing, mild discoloration and some gilt wear and a tiny chip on the underside of the rim, about the size of a pencil eraser and does not detract at all from the beauty of this piece. Useful in so many ways or to display and enjoy! |
