The best of the best ~ fresh from the Estate of Betty Meade Stewart of Clarke County VA, a direct descendant of Robert E. Lee, is the stunning pair of sterling silver tongs marked .925 ~ only the best. Very heavy and decorated with a very ornate repousse pattern with roses, they measure 6 3/4" long with talon nips.  Great size for ice, petite fours or many other uses.  It is lightly monogrammed on the top with a dainty script "ESE" and faint engraved SS# (oh my!) inside.  Condition is excellent ~ gently polished and ready to use!  By far the most beautiful  pattern I've ever seen!
