I love this tray ~ an old oval Tole tray measuring 18" wide x 14" deep, it's hand painted with a large pink rose and Lily of the Valley stems surrounded by Lily of the Valley leaves and accented with two pinkish daisies & tender tendrils. Gold trim both on the raised sides and also on the inside edge are also hand painted  ~ so charming! Oh yes, there are age flaws, wear on the rims and the black background, which you can see in the photo, however the painted area is great ~ no dents or dings...just adds to the charm ~ c. 1940's.
